As part of ongoing efforts to expand advanced medical treatments across the country, the infrastructure and capacities of Tabriz have been professionally evaluated for the launch of cell therapy services in northwest Iran. The assessment was conducted by Dr. Marzieh Ebrahimi, CEO of Kian Immune Cell Company, and Dr. Delbar Daneshjou, the company’s Technical Director.
During the visit, the specialized infrastructure of Karacell Company in Tabriz was also carefully reviewed. Dr. Darvishi from Cell Tech Pharmed accompanied the evaluation team.
With the presence of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences—one of the country’s leading medical institutions—along with specialized treatment centers, experienced professionals, and a strategic geographic location, Tabriz has emerged as a strong candidate for the development of cell-based therapies and cancer immunotherapy.
The establishment of these services could significantly improve regional patient access to advanced cancer treatments, reduce referrals to central medical hubs, and enhance healthcare equity nationwide.
